Evolution Gaming, provider of quality live dealer gaming to the industry, has broken ground after earning the first eCOGRA Certified Live Dealer Seal.
eCOGRA designed this seal to set standards in the live dealer sphere, where live games are streamed online in real time for players to enjoy a casino experience from their own homes.
Evolution Gaming, which boasts offices in a number of cities in the world such as Malta, Stockholm and London, provides services to several big names in the gambling industry.
Clients include 888, Gala Coral Group, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Party Gaming.
According to Andrew Beveridge, the Chief Executive Officer of eCOGRA, Evolution Gaming meets all the requirements set by the industry watchdog group.
"The genre differs from the more common and purely software powered online casino concept in that it features live staff using real gambling devices and tables," said Beveridge.
"This requires a very specific set of operating standards and requirements to ensure absolutely fair, safe and independent gaming in which both hardware and software systems are reviewed."
Along with eCOGRA's usual test for problem gambling and dispute facilities, the group also examined anti money laundering systems, staff training and lots of other areas including "the retention of video recordings of all sessions, collusion controls and overall game statistical performance on the roulette, baccarat and blackjack games offered."
