The four teams left standing in the UEFA Champions League were announced last night, after Real Madrid and Schalke joined rivals Manchester United and Barcelona.
Odds on the four semi-finalists have already been listed at bookmaker sites as follows:
Barcelona - 10/11
Manchester United - 9/4
Real Madrid - 7/2
Schalke - 14/1
Spectators can look forward to some beautiful soccer when the semi finals kick off, with some of the most gifted players left standing in the tournament.
Lionel Messi of Barcelona, considered the heartbeat of his side, plays one of the best brands of football among all teams on this earth.
Messi will be keen to topple Cristiano Ronaldo in a showdown between his team and Real Madrid in the semi finals.
Ronaldo, of course, will be a key figure in Real's UEFA dreams.
Barcelona's Andres Iniesta is a sound guarantee that his team will trump in the finals.
Manchester United's Wayne Rooney seems to have bounced back after a few troublesome months, and it's hoped that he can keep his temper in check when his team takes on Schalke.
Another player to keep an eye on is Schalke's Jefferson Farfan, who was influential in his team's superb 5-2 victory over Inter at San Siro.
Farfan is expected to threaten Manchester United's fragile defense during the upcoming semi finals.
Fellow Schalke player, the Brazilian striker Edu, has made an excellent impression since he joined the team last year, and could also pose a serious threat to Manchester's UEFA Champions League dreams.
