Mfuse, the London based mobile gambling software provider, has announced the appointment of a new Business Development Director.
Andrew Pegler joins Mfuse from Chartwell Games Limited, where he served as the group's Sales Director.
Chartwell Games is a subsidiary of the Canadian group Chartwell Technology.
Pegler has over ten years experience in the online gambling industry, and worked for a while as the Commercial Director for Jadestone, the Swedish games developer.
In 2004, Pegler founded Gambling Works, a consultancy business, where he worked with top gambling companies such as Unibet, Gala Coral and Bwin.
Speaking about his appointment, Pegler said: "It's a fantastic time to join Mfuse."
"The mobile betting and gaming space is growing rapidly and Mfuse continues to lead the way," he said. "I am very excited about this opportunity and am confident that I can add real value to the Mfuse business."
The CEO for Mfuse, Marcus Wareham said: "The mobile gaming industry is undergoing explosive growth in popularity thanks to the latest generation of smart phones."
He said that Mfuse continues to invest heavily in securing the best talent available in the industry in order to ensure that it retains a competitive advantage.
"I look forward to working with Andrew, whose unique industry experience will further enhance our strength and depth," he said.
The CEO of Chartwell Games, Dan Philips announced recently that he would be leaving his role to pursue other opportunities in the gambling industry.
The group's COO, Dave Acorn said that he wished Philips well for the future and thanked him for the contribution he made to the company over the years.
Acorn will assume Philips' responsibilities until a permanent replacement can be found, it was announced by Chartwell Games.
