Last weekend in Italy's premier football division, Serie A, worthy leaders AC
Milan may only have only picked up one point after drawing 0-0 with AS Roma, but
it was enough to earn them the coveted 2010/11 Serie A Championship.
But even though the Serie A title is in the bag, and Milan's fiercest rivals
Inter Milan failed to secured their sixth consecutive title, there are still two
games left in the season, which means two more games for Serie A betting fans to
sink their teeth into.
Lazio will start as the overwhelming favorites
On Saturday Lazio will take on Genoa at Olimpico, where Lazio will start as the
overwhelming favorites. This is no surprise given that Lazio are currently lying
fifth in the Serie A standings with 60 points, while Genoa are in 10th place
with 48 points.
The second match scheduled for Saturday will be between AC Milan and Cagliari,
where also unsurprisingly, Milan have been laid as the odds-on favorites because
Cagliari are 11th in the standings, and will be no match for the newly crowned
champs.
Of all the Serie A matches scheduled for Sunday, three stick out from a betting
point of view, starting with Bari versus Lecce. Although Bari have been
installed as the favourites, our handicappers feel that Lecce might just be able
to squeak out a win.
The underdogs could surprise everyone on Sunday
The second match worth betting on is between Chievo and Udinese. Despite the
fact Udinese are lying a massive eight places below Chievo in the Serie A
standings and will start as the underdogs, be prepared for them to surprise
everyone on Sunday.
And the last match we believe could go against the betting and deliver an upset,
is the match between Parma and Juventus. While it's unlikely Juventus will drop
a game against a team like Parma, our crystal ball has revealed a draw is on the
cards.
