In an industry that is becoming more and more competitive by the day, it is
good to know that some online gambling groups take their customers' satisfaction
very seriously.
This week, gambling giant, Betfair, put out a public statement,
showing that in response to customer feedback, it is committing itself to
customer satisfaction across five main areas.
These areas are: customer protection, integrity, service, communication and
product technology. All in all 14 customer promises are included in the
statement, each with a measurable element so that its success can be evaluated.
The Chief Commercial Offer of Betfair Niall Wass stressed the importance of
taking its players' demands and requirements very seriously, which was the drive
behind the group's customer commitment statement.
"This commitment is a direct response to customer feedback defining the areas
of our business where they felt clarity and transparency were most required," he
said.
"This is an ongoing commitment from Betfair to listen to our customers and,
ultimately, to strive to deliver the best experience in our industry."
He said that the group will report back every three months on how it is
progressing in all five fields, so as to ensure transparency along the way.
