Sky Vegas was happy to announce this week that one of its players managed
to bag a multi million prize after hitting the jackpot on the popular
Millionaires Club slot machine.
The winner, a 37 year old civil servant from Newcastle, UK, wagered just 90
pence on the exciting five reel, nine pay line Millionaires Club, which was
developed by software giant, Cryptologic.
His miniscule wager turned into a massive £2.6 million win, making it the
second time that a player has turned into an instant millionaire on this game at
Sky Vegas Casino.
The Alderney licensed online casino was all abuzz with excitement about the
win that occurred on June 3rd.
"We are in the business of making instant millionaires," said John Parsonage,
the Head of Gaming at Sky Vegas Casino.
"This is the second time one of our players has bagged a life-changing
windfall from Cryptologic's game and is a great crowd-puller for our site," he
declared.
Parsonage continued: "We are planning to launch another million pound jackpot
slot soon so hopefully there will be even more SkyVegas.com millionaires in the
future."
Cryptologic Proud of Latest Win
The software group, Cryptologic, reacted to the latest win on
its bestseller, Millionaires Club slot machine and said that since the game was
introduced to the industry in 2005, it has paid out over million pounds quite a
number of times.
And while the latest £2.6 million win is astonishing, it
still doesn't beat the 2007 windfall of one lucky player who took home £8
million after winning the jackpot on Millionaires Club.
"Since its launch in 2005, Millionaires Club has a gained loyal
following due to its innovative content and a unique blend of compelling
entertainment value and big cash prizes," said Ian Price, the Head of Business
and Product Development at Cryptologic.
"We congratulate SkyVegas.com and the player on this win, which again highlights
the game's huge appeal to casino operators and players worldwide."
