888, the London listed UK gambling group, has announced that it has signed a
licensing deal with Warner Bros Digital Distribution.
The deal will allow 888 Holdings Plc to develop slots games based on two
of Warner Bros' most popular brands, related to the box office hits Nightmare on
Elm Street and Clash of the Titans.
The games will be added to 888's ever-growing portfolio of top notch games
that feature across multiple casino, sports betting, poker and bingo sites.
Yaniv Sherman, the Business Development and Sales Vice President for 888
said: "This exciting deal marks another milestone for 888 in our pursuit of
gaming excellence."
"We are thrilled to be working with one of the world's most renowned
entertainment companies and will be developing and deploying the new games this
year and next," he added.
Adventure Fantasy and Horror Themed Games
The two games promise to delight players who frequent 888
powered online gaming sites, especially thanks to their strong and familiar
themes.
The action adventure fantasy movie, Clash of the Titans was
remade last year by Warner Bros after proving to be a huge hit when it was first
launched in 1981.
Nightmare on Elm Street also enjoyed a revival in 2010, after an
incredible release in 1984, even spawning an entire franchise and industry
brand.
Both games have proven to be hugely successful in their own
right and, with their instantly recognizable graphics, it is believed that the
success will also be carried over to the reels.
888 is not the only gambling group that has struck a deal with
Warner Bros Digital Distribution. Rivals such as Microgaming and Cryptologic
have also entered into agreements with the entertainment group in the past,
leading to the creation of games such as the Marvel Comics series (Fantastic
Four, Hulk, etc.).
