giant, William Hill.
The new site, mobet.williamhill.com, was created in collaboration with mobile
gaming developer, Mobenga was acquired by software
provider Playtech Plc earlier this month.
The new betting site will be available on mobile devices that boast internet
capabilities.
William Hill issued a press release regarding the launch of the new mobile
betting site and listed a number of improvements to its original brand.
According to the group, these include:
"Quicker connection; Access to the same odds and markets as online users;
Easy and quick registration; Easy to view account with identifiable icons;
Enhanced race cards with Racing Post information and silks; Innovative ways to
make sports selections using interactive markets; Specially designed sports
scoreboards - with engaging commentaries."

According to William Hill's recent financial report, its mobile
sector has grown a staggering 800% year on year.
It is believed that the new site will contribute even more to
these numbers, allowing punters to access over 500,000 markets every week, while
also giving them access to an excellent mobile casino product.
"We've taken time to develop our mobile site, and we believe
it's now the best in the marketplace," said the Head of Mobile at William Hill,
Michael Byrne. "The new site has already received rave reviews in the media and
we believe it will be a big hit with British punters."
To celebrate the new site, WillHill is offering a super offer,
refunding all losing bets placed on horses who finish second at 'Glorious
Goodwood' this week, as long as the punts are made through the mobile site.
"It's an incredible offer and one that should appeal to
customers using our exciting new mobile site," said Byrne.
