Bodog is continuing on its hiring spree in a bid to create one of the top
executive teams for it new European venture.
The group recently announced that after a lot of searching for the best
people in the industry, it has finally filled the roles of Mobile Product
Manager and Business Analyst.
Both men have considerable experience in the online gaming world, and it is
believed that they will make a smooth transition to the Bodog brand.
Bryan Hurwitz has been hired to serve as Bodog Europe's new Mobile Product
Manager. Hurwitz previous worked with Mfuse, the London based mobile gambling
provider.
His new role at Bodog Europe is to manage the group's mobile channel and work
with teams to deliver the product to mobile players.
Both Roles Strengthen the Bodog Team
The second person hired by Bodog Europe is Conor Hickey, who
last worked at SportingBet on a number of interesting products.
Previously he worked in a number of industries, bringing with
him a "history of successful project delivery from within a software development
environment."
Hickey will serve as Bodog Europe's new Business Analyst.
According to Patrik Selin, the Chief Executive Officer for Bodog
Europe: "These two key roles we have wanted to fill for a while and both roles
immeasurably strengthen our team in vital areas for the business."
Last month, Bodog was given the green light by the UK Gambling
Commission to provide certain gambling services to the local market.
The group is planning to launch a new website in the coming
months and will locate servers in a secure location and hire around 100
employees to run and service the site.
At the time, Selin said: "We have taken a long term view on the
UK. It's the largest regulated market in the world today and we want to be part
of that. The key thing is to develop trust with the UK customer."
