Jade Richards New Favourite to Win X-Factor

Jade Richards wows judges at X-Factor

Jade Richards, the 21 year old singer on X Factor, is a wannabe vampire with the alter ego, Jade von Horror. However, her obsession with tattoos and face piercing saw her knocked back by the ITV talent show five times. For this year's audition, Richards changed her style and produced an amazing audition on Sunday night.

Able to leave judges Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh in tears, Walsh praised her audition performance, describing her as "God-given talent."

Richards confessed to being "obsessed with vampires." In fact, she claimed to "love Twilight," but she said, "I haven't drunk blood or anything like that yet. I could be the first vampire X-Factor winner - how great would that be?"

"You don't see many Goths doing well on X-Factor. I guess I look less like one now I've taken out most of my piercings," she continued.

In fact, one of her friends commented on the lack of piercing: "I was surprised to see Jade with no piercings. She's always rolling around pubs looking like Morticia from The Addams Family with fangs. Some people steered clear, but she's a good laugh. It's just an image thing."

Richards has attracted a large following with more than 4,300 Twitter Fans already. Fans include Arsenal's Jack Wilshere and Wales star, Robbie Savage. Wilshere, 19, posted: "Jade Richards….. remember the name. She's going to be a star." Keir Smith, her ex-singing partner added: "U did us proud and blew every1 away."
