Microgaming, a world leading online gaming software provider, has announced
that it has licensed well-known Spanish online casino operator CIRSA, to
offer its top quality portfolio of casino games.
CIRSA, one of Spain's most successful online gaming operators, is expected to
launch its Microgaming-powered online gaming site on the domain Cirsa.es, which
will feature online casino, online poker and online bingo games.
Online sports betting will also be offered on the new site, with a
particularly Spanish focus on the games, odds and bets. This is to be expected
as the site's target audience is the Spanish market, and Spanish online gaming
fans will be their primary focus.
Regulated Spanish Markets Ripe for Investors
The recently regulated Spanish online gambling market is a big
attraction for large online casino and gambling operators looking to expand
their reach further into Europe.
Earlier this year, CIRSA, said that it is aiming to make a name
for itself as a leader in the entertainment and gaming sector in the regulated
Spanish online gambling market.
The new regulated market is now ripe for investors in both the
traditional land-based gambling sector and new areas such as online gambling.
CIRSA already has a presence in the Spanish gambling market
after it signed a sponsorship agreement in August of this year with Spanish La
Liga football club, Real Betis.
This sponsorship deal includes joint initiatives such as a range
of online betting and gaming activities.
CIRSA Chooses Microgaming For Top Reputation
CIRSA said that they chose Microgaming to power their new online
casino, poker and bingo site because of Microgaming's world-wide reputation for
high quality, innovative online gaming content.
A CIRSA spokesperson said that Micrograming's experience was a
very attractive proposition and that "the ability to offer Microgaming content
to our players is also hugely appealing as their innovative software is
unparalleled within the industry."
He continued that the online gambling company was delighted that
their players would be able to enjoy the world's most popular and exciting games
and that they forward to a long and happy working relationship with Microgaming.
Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever said that the online software
provider giant was thrilled to be working with CIRSA, a well known name in the
gaming industry.
He stated that "Microgaming has developed a wealth of experience
over the past 15 years and we are looking forward to playing our part in making
CIRSA the complete one stop shop in gaming entertainment."
As part of Microgaming's reputation for providing creative
software solutions to other newly regulated markets such as Spain, France and
Italy, the leading software provider group will be attending the iGaming Summit
in Madrid at the end of October.
