Devlin Sky Bet X Factor Favourite

Leading UK sports betting site, Sky Bet is offering odds on the outright favourite to win this year's X Factor singing competition.

After a powerful performance on Saturday night when she sang Fix You by Coldplay, Janet Devlin remains a favourite to win the X Factor and Sky Bet sports betting group is offering odds of 2/1 that she will take home the winner's title.

However, bettors may want to keep their eyes on Misha Bryan, who saw her odds jump to 9/2, making her the fastest mover last week, thanks to her rendition of Rolling in the Deep by Adele.

The biggest shock this weekend was the departure of 16 year old Amelia Lily, who had been second favourite to win the show and was seen as a serious contender to Janet Devlin.

Many believe that if Lily was voted off, nobody's place is secure in this season's X Factor.

According to Helen Jacob, speaking for Sky Bet bookie: "This year's X Factor promises to be a very open betting event with some very strong acts indeed. The judges are going to be faced with an agonising decision every week and their decision is often a controversial one.
