After a dramatic week on X Factor USA, the competition has been whittled down
to just four finalists, and betting action is said to have reached a climax on
Simon Cowell's successful TV show.
The four talented singers left standing are Melanie Amaro, Marcus Canty,
Chris Renee and Josh Krajcik, after thirteen year old Rachel Crow was voted off
this week.
It has now been reported that judge Nicole Scherzinger is facing the axe
after a popularity backlash from viewers, following her decision to send Rachel
and Marcus to a public vote - a decision which spelled the end to the
youngster's appearance on X Factor USA.
Millions of people watched in horror as Rachel Crow fell dramatically to the
stage floor on Thursday night after she was voted off. Her mother ran on stage
to comfort the wailing child, and Nicole Scherzinger looked visibly shocked that
her decision had caused her untimely departure from the show.
Sources said that an inconsolable Nicole was still seen weeping an hour after
the end of the show, screaming: "I can't do this anymore." An infuriated Simon
Cowell is said to have decided to axe Nicole from the show after the incident.
Dramatic X Factor USA Betting
The next few weeks on X Factor USA promise to be just as dramatic - on screen
and at leading UK bookmakers which have picked up on the action and are running
great markets.
Paddy Power, the well known Irish casino and sports betting provider, has
X Factor US betting odds of 4/6 that the steady favourite, Melanie Amaro is
set to win the contest outright.
Amaro gave another stunning performance this week and is expected to continue
in her flawless classic renditions.
Josh Krajcik continued to wield his 'Krajcik Magic' this week and has odds of
6/4 that he will win. While he is currently second, there is growing support for
this gentle giant with a roaring voice. The 'burly burrito maker' appeals to
young and old and may very well surprise the bookies as well.
Chris Rene is another underdog who currently has odds of 9/1 at Paddy Power's
sports book site, but who is also improving with each and every performance.
Far off from the other three contestants at the betting sites is Marcus Canty
(33/1) who many feel should have been booted instead of Rachel Crow this week.
But, with X Factor being X Factor, every week brings with it another surprise
and these odds could change at a moment's notice.
Bet on your favourite X Factor USA finalist at Paddy Power or other leading
UK bookmakers today.
