Net Entertainment, the Swedish based online casino software developer, has
announced the launch of a new mobile offering.
The range of games launched by Net Ent was designed to suit iOS enabled
mobile devices, including the popular iPads, iPhones and iPods, according to the
group in a press release.
The new brand will be known as NetEnt Touch and will initially include three
of Net Entertainment's most popular games, namely Jack Hammer, Gonzo's Quest and
the card game, Blackjack.
Net Entertainment said in its statement that more "best in breed games" from
the group's existing profile will be released for the new mobile platform to
form part of a "phased roll out approach with several partners during 2012."
The Acting Chief Executive Officer for Net Entertainment, Bjorn Krantz said
that his company's brand was all about quality and passion for gaming.
"This is a great moment for Net Entertainment, our partners and their player
base and I am confident that our mobile games will be very well received as the
usability and total experience is truly magnificent," he said.
Krantz said that Net Entertainment's partners have been waiting for the day
that the group releases its first mobile games, and he was happy that Net Ent
was now able to offer its players a "great end to end experience moving
forward."
"We will continue to build up a solid portfolio of mobile games, which will
frequently be launched into the market," promised Krantz.
Net Entertainment Expands into Danish Market
The news of Net Ent's new mobile games release comes hot on the heels of an
announcement by the group this week that top gambling groups Betsson, Unibet,
Bet24 and Sportingbook selected Net Entertainment as their local casino partner
in Denmark.
Net Ent reportedly signed multiple deals to supply its casino products to
major international gambling companies who were awarded licenses to enter the
newly regulated Danish market.
"Net Entertainment is well positioned to ensure smooth entry into newly
regulated markets," said Krantz. "We have solid expertise of the Danish market
and we continue to support our partners through the process of launching under a
new jurisdiction."
He said that the opening of the Danish market offers an excellent opportunity
for Net Ent and its partners to drive sustainable growth moving forward.
"Together with our partners, Danish players will be able to enjoy a full
suite of casino games including popular video slots such as Gonzo's Quest,
Bloodsuckers and Jack Hammer, to mention a few," he said.
