Aston Villa are gearing up to host Everton tomorrow (Saturday, January 14th)
at Villa Park, which should be a hard and tough match, even though Villa are the
7/5 favourites at Ladbrokes.
Everton have had a rough season, and may be on the start of a downward spiral
judging by their defeat last time out at the hands of Tottenham, which followed
a loss to Bolton the week before. Manager David Moyes will no doubt be pulling
his hair out at the club's recent form.
However, if they can produce a good offence and bolster their defence against
Aston Villa on Saturday, they might be able to get back that winning feeling and
earn a much-needed three points to help boost their standings.
Aston Villa too have had their fair share of struggles this season, but they
will no doubt pull out all the stops to ensure a home victory tomorrow. Being
that the sides are fairly evenly matched, fans can expect a good game.
Everton and Aston Villa Lineup
Everton players to watch out for tomorrow include Leon Osman, Leighton Baines
and Apostolos Vellios. However, the team may not bring Sylvain Distin back for
the match as he appeared to be injured in the last match.
Other players in the line up will likely include Heitinga, Bilyaletdinov,
Saha, Hibbert, Cahill, Howard, Duffy, Donovan, Neville, Fellaini, and Anichebe.
Aston Villa are currently placed 13th, but have only one win to their credit
in the past few matches that they have played. A win against Everton would be
welcome and would give them some momentum for their upcoming games.
Aston Villa players to watch out for include Darren Bent, Gabriel Agbonlahor and
Robbie Keane.
