Betfair, the giant international facing online gambling group, has announced
the addition of three new, dice-based games to its newly launched Poker Cubed
gaming platform, each with great graphics, playability and lucrative payouts.
The games have been launched on Poker Cubed, one of Betfair's latest
arcade-style gaming platforms, which will pit players against one another to
bring an extra element of excitement to Betfair's growing range of peer-to-peer
games.
The three games have been praised for their innovation, including the fact
that they are based on dice rather than cards - although the action is similar
to that found on most gambling card games
Speaking about Betfair adding new games, the manager of the group,
Ashley Chase said: "Poker has become something of a 'solved' game in recent
years, so we're excited to bring a new twist to the game in the form of Poker
Cubed."
"We believe the product offers a challenge to veteran card players and
newcomers alike," he added.
Play New Dice Games at Poker Cubed
There are three new games available at Poker Cubed: Dice Hold
'em, Shoot the Moons and Liar's Dice.
The game Dice Hold 'em is based on the highly successful Texas
Hold 'em poker variant which has become a staple at online poker and gaming
sites in recent years.
The second new game introduced by Betfair is called Shoot The
Moons, an extraordinary game which sees players betting on who has rolled the
highest scoring dice. Any player who rolls a double six wins half of the pot
right away. Shoot the Moons offers hours of entertainment and has the ability to
reward exceptionally well.
The third and final new game released is called Liar's Dice,
recognisable from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. In Liar's Dice, players
try to outbid each other on the values which appear on ten dice which are
partially concealed. This is the perfect game for players who enjoy the
bluffing elements in poker, and complements poker entertainment.
Betfair's manager, Chase said: "Betfair's multi player Poker
Cubed games bring a new dimension to poker with six times the action."
The three new games are a result of Betfair's partnership with
the Swedish online casino game developer, Jadestone. Recently, Betfair launched
its first backgammon product thanks to this partnership.
Betfair also recently announced the release of anew online slot
game, based on the Atari game from the '90's, Sensible Soccer.
