Tonight's EuroMillions Lottery draw boasts a £40 million jackpot.
This massive amount is due to the fact that nobody managed to win the jackpot
for the main prize in Tuesday (January 17th) draw, resulting in a triple
rollover for Friday's draw.
Tuesday's lucky numbers were 12 - 22 - 30 - 31 - 44 and Lucky Stars 5 and 6.
While the big prize wasn't won, seven lucky players matched five numbers and
one Lucky Star, each bagging a second tier prize of €156,265. However, none of
these winners hailed from the United Kingdom, and tonight's draw is a chance for
UK lottery players to win big.
Tuesday's EuroMillions draw saw over 1.8 million players from all over Europe
win some form of cash prize. Players only need to match two main numbers in
order to start winning cash prizes.
EuroMillions is Europe's Biggest Jackpot Lottery
The January 20th EuroMillions £40 million jackpot draw
shows why this lottery is considered Europe's biggest rolling jackpot lottery
game.
All players need to do is select five numbers from one through
to fifty and two Lucky Stars numbers from one through to eleven.
Players have the opportunity to play EuroMillions every single
week - one on a Tuesday and the other on a Friday. Draws take place in Paris,
where five numbers are drawn along with two Lucky Stars. In order to win any
sort of cash prize, players need to match at least two main numbers.
Two UK Millionaires Guaranteed Each Week
One of the reasons the EuroMillions lottery is so popular
amongst UK players is the fact that it guarantees two UK millionaires every
single week.
Each time UK players purchase a line of EuroMillions numbers,
they are issued with a unique UK Millionaire Raffle selection of nine digits of
three letters and six numbers. This number is not only printed on their ticket,
but is automatically entered into that week's UK Millionaire Raffle draw.
The UK Millionaire Raffle usually takes place before the main
EuroMillions draw. EuroMillions lottery fans who buy their tickets online will
be informed by email if they've won a whopping UK Millionaire Raffle payout.
There is still time to buy a lottery ticket for this week's
EuroMillions jackpot draw. However, it is important to note that tickets for all
draws can be purchased up to four weeks in advance, so players never need to
miss any of the lottery action.
