With seven people left standing in the Celeb Big Brother 2012 TV show,
bookmakers are starting to hone in to the finals by offering odds on who they
believe will be the outright winner.
Soapie actress Natalie Kennedy enjoyed top spot at bookmaker sites but was
recently voted out in a shocking double dose of evictions. She joined TOWIE
star, Kirk Norcross in leaving the Big Brother house, despite the fact that
bookies ranked her as a long shot to depart so soon.
There is now a neck and neck battle between rugby star Gareth Thomas and X
Factor reject Frankie Cocozza for top spot at online UK bookmaker sites to win
this year's Celebrity Big Brother.
Cocozza's very recent rise in popularity has been one of the biggest
surprises of the show. He joined Celebrity Big Brother as one of the rank
outsiders, with many speculating that his pratty image wouldn't leave the
Brighton boy in the house for long.
However, the viewers seem to be adoring his wild behaviour - so much so that
he now has a very real chance of being the outright winner of Celebrity Big
Brother 2012.
It's believed that the 19-year-old Cocozza has managed to strike just the
right balance between his dual charming sweet-talker and say-it-as-you-see it
personalities. As such, Frankie Cocozza is now second behind Gareth Thomas to
win the show.
"Gareth Thomas has been the favourite for a few days now but Frankie Cocozza
has been the only person the people have been wanting to back in the last 24
hours," noted a spokesperson for William Hill, the leading UK land based and
online sports betting and gambling group.
Big Brother Betting: Cocozza vs Thomas
At present, it seems as though either Cocozza or Thomas will be
the outright winners among the Big Brother favourites. While the rugby
star has been described as the "all-round nice guy" of the Big Brother house,
Cocozza has surprised many viewers by being much less of a brat than they
initially believed he would be.
But it should be remembered that up until very recently, Natalie
Cassidy was the darling of the show, and even as late last week she was on 33/1
longshot odds that she'd be leaving the House any time soon.
As such, while Cocozza and Thomas are the favourites for now,
anything can still happen, with many surprises no doubt lurking right around the
corner.
Current odds at Irish gambling superpower, Paddy Power on the
outright winner of the Celeb Big Brother 2012:
Gareth Thomas 11/10
Frankie Cocozza 4/1
Michael Madsen 9/2
Romeo 6/1
Karissa and Kristina Shannon 13/2
Denise Welch 16/1
Nicola McLean 66/1
