The Gala Leo Casino in Liverpool announced that a
partnership deal with the US land gaming giant, International Game
Technology, has resulted in the implementation of IGT's Cloud
programme throughout the casino.
The IGT Cloud is a complete casino floor management programme
which offers unbeatable support to gambling establishments through
a number of areas, including a games library, performance analysis
and marketing.
The Head of Electronic Gaming at Gala Casinos, Rosanna Evans said
about the
Liverpool casino implementing IGT's Cloud programme: "As
we go live, we are looking forward to utilizing IGT Cloud to
optimise floor wide yields to help us as we manage the casino of
the future.
"We are excited to partner with IGT to implement the Cloud
programme, and are thrilled in the prospect of being able to make
an impact in player experience with this innovative solution," she
said.
IGT Cloud covers a number of areas in a casino to enable more
successful management across the board. This includes its
sbX Floor Manager, which provides the casino with access to a
massive games library.
Not only are casinos who are part of the Cloud partnership
programme able to update games on their floors, but they are also
able to customise them to suit local players.
Sbx Analytics enables casinos to analyse their game performance
through instant reports in a bid to improve their achievements.
Ad Manager, another IGT concept, covers all areas of digital
marketing, linking the casino and its customers on a regular basis
with new information.
IGT Cloud Changes the Way Casinos Operate
International Game Technology and Gala Casinos have been in
partnership since last year, and Gala Leo Casino is the first land
based casino to go live with this technology.
"The IGT Cloud service completely changes the way that casinos
implement new technologies and he speed of that implementation,"
noted the Chief Technology Officer for IGT, Chris Satchell. "The
IGT Cloud is more cost effective and easier to maintain than a
traditional system, and will help casino operators obtain and
utilise innovative technologies to optimise their casino floors
and entertain their patrons."
Gala Casinos' parent company is the Gala Coral Group which
employs 16,000 people across the UK. Gala Casinos operates
24 clubs in the country, as well as another land based
establishment in Gibraltar.
