One of the most anticipated events in the British music industry will take
place next week Tuesday (February 21), and online sports betting sites are
offering odds on potential winners on the big night.
The Brits are being held at London's O2 Arena and all eyes will be on Adele,
the highly talented singer who has seen her second album 21 - which was released
in 2011 - sell four million copies in the UK alone, and millions more around the
globe.
There is no doubt that this has been a superb year for Adele, the North
London born 23-year-old, and she deserves to be in line to win so many awards at
the upcoming Brits Awards 2012.
On the Brit Awards 2012 betting scale, for the Best British Single
award, Adele is close behind One Direction and the Military Wives for first spot
on the odds tables, with her song "Someone Like You."
Odds of 4/6 are being offered at William Hill, the giant British gambling
group, that One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" will win the title for
Best British Single, with the Military Wives' single with Gareth Malone,
"Wherever You Are" with odds of 3/1. Adele comes in third at 6/1.
Others in the running for this title are The Wanted ("Glad You Came") at
10/1, JLS ("She Makes me Wanna") at 12/1, Ed Sheeran ("The A Team") and 14/1 and
Jessie J ("Price Tag") at 16/1.
