Leading online gambling site bwin.com, which also offers mobile gambling, has
launched a poker app that has been tailor made for the Apple iPad tablet
computer. Like its online poker room, this app allows players to engage in real
money cash games.
The domain bwin.com is owned by the online gambling operator bwin.party
Digital Entertainment. The announcement by bwin.party refers to an update of the
mobile interface for the iPhone and Android apps it introduced in 2011.
The current new bwin iPad poker app is based on that
interface and can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes Store.
Berthold Kao from bwin.party's mobile, touch and video department provided
more details. Through the new bwin iPad Poker app the players at bwin.com will
now have unrestricted access to their online poker account.
Another advantage they will get is that they will have the full iPad
resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels.
Kao said, "The bwin iPad Poker app extends our lead in mobile entertainment
on tablet devices and builds on our hugely successful iPhone Poker app that
bwin.party designs with its own mobile development teams."
Poker is not the only online gambling product offered by bwin.com on mobile
handsets. The bwin Sports App offers ante post and live betting. The mobile
