Bet365, the giant online gambling entity which is considered one of the UK's
biggest success stories, has proven its worth in the financial sector once more.
Bet365 appeared on the Investec Bank's Hot 100 List of the fastest growing
mid-size private companies in the United Kingdom, and was placed at an
impressive 30th spot.
Investec Bank, which rates companies on their compound yearly growth over the
last four years, showed that Bet365 had grown by around 46% a year. Its turnover
had reached a staggering £501.4 million by the end of March 2011 for the year.
Bet365's growth in the UK market goes beyond its financial success,
however. The group also created hundreds of new jobs in a twelve month period.
Speaking for Investec Bank was Ed Cottrell who said: "The 2012 Investec Hot
100 is a fascinating piece of research into high-growth businesses. Some sectors
stand out as strong and downturn resistant: information technology, outsourced
services, which are taking functions formerly held within government and large
corporates, and niche and budget retailers which cater to price sensitive
consumers."
Bet365 saw its customers wager a total of £8.54 billion in the year which
ended in March 2011 - a mammoth £5.4 billion more than the previous year. The
Festival Park-based company employs a total of 1,700 people.
Bet365 Among World's Largest Gambling Groups
Considered one of the largest online gambling groups in the world, Bet365

platform and trading team, and launched onto the internet a year later.
Over the years, Bet365 has won multiple awards, including the eGaming Review
