The Genting Casino Plymouth refurbishment is in the gaming spotlight,
because the casino - formerly known as the Stanley Casino - is expected to be
turned into a 'shining jewel' in the Genting crown of land casinos.
The amazing aspect of this project is that Genting Casino Plymouth, which is
located on Union Street next to Theatre Royal, will continue to function normally
throughout the refurbishment.
Genting UK Refurbishes Plymouth Casino
The new look of Genting Casino Plymouth was officially unveiled on Friday,
April 6, with one of the aims of the refurbishment to give the casino greater
visibility at the street level in the bustling seaside town.
In order to achieve this, the frontage of the building is being opened up for
creating a reception area where customers will be received by a casino staff
member. One of the proposed facilities is a new and contemporary bar that will
remain functional till the early hours of the morning. It will well stocked with
wines and liquors as well as snacks from the bar menu.
The Poker Room will be shifted from the second floor to the main gaming
floor. Casino staff are being trained and augmented so as to offer the best of
services to go with the new look. One of the initiatives in this regard is the
recruitment of 12 new dealers who will be trained by the time the new look
Genting Casino Plymouth relaunches.
As mentioned earlier, the present services are not being disrupted. The Poker
Room will continue to host poker tournaments on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Genting Casino has announced an additional special event for Wednesday, April
25. Barny Boatman of the Hendon Mob will be the bounty for the poker tournament
that night and anyone who knocks him out of the competition will receive a £200
payout.
In addition to poker, Genting Casino offers American Roulette, Blackjack, 3
Card Poker, Crazy 4 Card Poker, Electronic Roulette and £4000 Jackpot Slots.
