Premier League Darts betting is heating up as the epic UK
darts tournament heads into the semi finals knock out stage, and those players
at the top of the leader board continue to pull ahead.
Last week 11 of the 14 round robin Premier League Darts competitions were
completed, and the rankings of the competing players going into Week 12 of the
tournament are as follows:
Phil Taylor - 19 points
Simon Whitlock - 14 points
James Wade - 11 points
Adrian Lewis - 11 points
Raymond van Barneveld - 10 points
Kevin Painter - 8 points
Andy Hamilton - 8 points
Gary Anderson - 7 points
After the round robin part of the Premier League Darts is over, the top four
players will play off in the semi finals and the winners of the semi finals will
compete in the finals. The highly skilled Phil Taylor has already confirmed his
place in the play offs. However, the remaining three places are open and
technically any of the remaining seven players can qualify.
Markets on Premier League Darts Semi Finals
So far the British punters following the Premier League Darts were focusing
on match markets at the online betting sites.
Premier online sportsbooks, like Bet365 online, offer a number of markets on
each of the four weekly matches. But now that the points table position is
getting crystallized the bettors are turning their attention to the semi finals
and outright markets. Bet365 online offers odds for each player making it to the
semi finals. Since Taylor is certain to make the cut no odds are being assigned
to him.
Premier League Darts Semi Final Odds
Simon Whitlock 1/20
James Wade 4/7
Adrian Lewis 2/7
Raymond van Barneveld 1/1
Kevin Painter 8/1
Andy Hamilton 8/1
Gary Anderson 12/1
The odds generally follow the rankings, with the toughness of the remaining
matches for the player factored in. Bet365 online also offers odds for players
not to reach the semi finals, which follow the reverse order.
Bet365 online also offers odds on the outright winner of the Premier League
Darts. This is not the player who tops the table after the round robin matches,
but the player who wins his semi final and then the final match. The present
odds for this market are as follows.
Premier League Darts Outright Winner Odds
Phil Taylor 4/7
Simon Whitlock 6/1
James Wade 8/1 points
Adrian Lewis 11/2
Raymond van Barneveld 14/1
Kevin Painter 175/1
Andy Hamilton 200/1
Gary Anderson 250/1
This is the right time to place wagers on the outright winner of the Premier
League Darts. Once the round robin is over, the odds on the qualifiers will
shorten considerably. Bet365 also has a market on the player to finish at the
bottom of the points table after the round robin. Three players are in
contention in this market.
Premier League Darts Last Place Odds
Gary Anderson 5/6
Andy Hamilton 11/4
Kevin Painter 11/4
