Katie Price, aka by her showbiz name, Jordan, has confirmed that she is
engaged to be married - for the third time in just seven years.
Price's first two weddings created noteworthy betting frenzies at popular
online bookie sites, and her upcoming wedding to Argentinean Leandro Penna has
already seen some very popular betting markets revisited by Jordan fans.
Paddy Power, the leading Irish bookmaker, for example, has opened multiple
markets on the upcoming Katie Price/Leandro nuptials, including their honeymoon
destination, the colour of the bride's dress and who will act as bridesmaid.
Most popular as a honeymoon destination is Marbella, with odds of 2/1,
followed by Argentina (5/2), Malaga (3/1) and Florida (8/1).
Long shots in this market are Southend and Benidorm (25/1 each) or Cyprus
(100/1).
The question of who will serve as Katie's bridesmaid is also something that
punters are pondering.
Paddy Power bookies have Princess Tiaamii, Price's daughter with her first
husband, Peter Andre as their first choice at odds of 1/25, followed by Sophie
Price at 1/20.
Bet on How Long Price Marriage will Last
Katie Price is entering her third wedding with a murky track record, with her
second wedding to cage-fighter Alex Reid lasting a mere 12 months after she
married him in Las Vegas in 2010.
33 year old Reid recently denied rumours that he was "devastated" over
Price's plans to wed again and tweeted that, after seeing his so-called comments
on Katie and Leandro, he totally denied what was said.
"I never did say those things," said the eloquent Reid. "Not even on my radar
and certainly not kick in teeth. I really couldn't care less bout my ex or
whatever she's doing and as for my Chantelle [his current girlfriend carrying
their child] I'm totally madly deeply in love with her."
Before Reid, Katie Price married singer-turned-restaurateur Andre Peter in a
fairytale wedding and they had two children, Princess Tiaamii and Peter Junior,
their firstborn. The two have been involved in public, acrimonious mud slinging
since their divorce.
