After nearly ten years of loyal service, Graham Campbell, the IT director of
32Red Plc, the London-listed gambling group, has stepped down from his position.
Campbell joined 32Red Plc from Ladbrokes in 2002 after working in the
Gibraltar-based group as a system controller.
When he took up his position at 32Red Plc, he became responsible for ensuring
that customers of this leading online gambling company were guaranteed fast and
reliable around the clock service and support.
Campbell managed 32Red's online gaming services, including its award winning
32Red Casino, which has become one of the most popular casinos online.
The IT director's job also covered back office functionality and the
development of hardware and software.
In a statement issued by 32Red, the group said: "The board of 32Red wishes to
thank Graham for his significant contribution to the development of the business
since 2002 and wishes him the very best for the future."
While the 32Red IT director's resignation is effective immediately, he
will still be engaged on a consultancy basis.
32Red Remains Leading Player in UK Market
32Red Plc remains a leading player in the UK gambling market, as it seeks to
expand to global gambling markets.
The group was founded by Ed Ware in 2000, after he left his position of
Managing Director of Ladbrokes in order to set up an independent online casino.
The group operates out of Gibraltar, and its online casino arm is powered by
Microgaming online software provider. 32Red also operates an online poker room
(32RedPoker.com).
32Red employs around 40 people, who all share the group's vision of becoming
one of the leading gambling companies in the world.
32Red Casino Has Won Multiple Awards
Since its inception, 32Red Casino has won multiple industry
awards, taking home top prize in the Casinomeister Awards for eight years
running - 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
In 2011, 32Red won eGaming Review's Casino Operator of the Year,
adding another feather to its cap of top awards.
Perhaps the most impressive award, however, was 32Red Casino
being declared the Casinomeister Casino of the Decade, which examined the
qualities and achievements of hundreds of online casino sites throughout the
entire first ten years of the new century and found that 32Red Casino was worthy
of the award.
