Tonight, June 1st, will see the EuroMillions draw take place,
with a massive £92 million prize up for grabs - the largest
so far in 2012.
The reason for this huge amount is the fact that the jackpot has
rolled over a total of nine times. In fact, last Tuesday saw the
prize pool reach £79 million (or a milestone €99 million)
but, once again, there was no winner, leading to this week's
enormous amount.
It is rare that the EuroMillions, Europe's largest rolling
jackpot lottery game, rolls over nine times, and lottery fans are
hoping that tonight is the night that someone will take home the
big prize.

All this excitement being generated by big EuroMillions prizes
waiting to be won, triggered a conversation between Nottingham
colleagues about what they'd do if they ever won the lottery.
One of them, 46 year old Alan Elliott decided that he'd check a
batch of old tickets, in the hope that he was the winner of a
small amount of cash.
Imagine his surprise when the shop assistant told him to "sit
down and stay calm."
"I thought she was pulling my leg," recalled Elliott at a press
conference, "but her boss came over and called Camelot for me as I
couldn't think."
Alan Elliott and his wife Kim had just become winners of a cool
£1 million, on a two month old ticket that had been taped to
their fridge all this time.
Not quite believing the shop assistant, Elliott had his son
check to find that there was, indeed, an unclaimed EuroMillions
lottery ticket from Nottingham. But even seeing the winning
ticket wasn't enough to convince him.
Elliott intends continuing his work in a building firm, but said
that he would splurge on a Range Rover ad spend more time on his
golfing hobby.
