The UK is currently gripped with Jubilee fever as Her Royal Majesty, Queen
Elizabeth II celebrates sixty years of reigning over her kingdom.
UK bookmakers have joined the rest of the country in celebration and are
offering a number of interesting royal betting markets connected to the Jubilee
Jamboree.
Betting shops throughout the UK remained open on Diamond Jubilee weekend,
with today, Monday,June 4th, included in statutory paid leave entitlement. There
have been calls from trade unions give staff Tuesday the 5th off, following the
Diamond Jubilee weekend.
Many of the betting markets are focused on the weather and how the rain will
hold up while the Queen takes on a succession of royal appearances throughout
the week.
Currently, odds at William Hill sports betting site are 7/4 that it will rain
on Tuesday as the Queen appears on the balcony at Buckingham Palace to greet the
crowds.

William Hill has offered a number of other betting markets, unrelated to the
climate, on the queen and invited punters to bet on the Jubilee Jamboree.
"Forget the weather, the Queen will have a fantastic weekend and the odds say
her reign will continue for many years to come," said Rupert Adams, a spokesman
for William Hill.

While everyone celebrates the Jubilee Jamboree, eyes will also be on who is
expected to be the future King of England, Prince William.
William Hill is also offering odds on the year of William and his wife,
Kate's first born, as follows:

2014 - 4/1
2015 or later - 12/1
Paddy Power, the Irish sports betting group, has also been active on the
royal front, and one of its more popular markets centers around the younger
Prince Harry and his next girlfriend.
The prince's ex, Chelsy Davy is still the favourite to win his heart over
eventually, with odds on 4/6, followed by the woman who he is believed to have
shared a secret tryst with, Mollie King of The Saturdays.
Another ex, Florence Brudenell-Bruce appears third on the list with odds of
12/1, while further down, players can wager on Caroline Flack (20/1), or Cheryl
Cole (12/1).
Brave punters can try betting 80/1 that Prince Harry will be Emma Watson's
beau, or 500/1 that he'll date socialite Paris Hilton.
