Betfair, the UK's leading betting exchange, has struck another deal to
sponsor a snooker tournament.
This time, the online casino operator will be sponsoring the second Snooker
Shoot Out tournament, scheduled to be held in Blackpool early next year.
The sponsorship deal was signed between Betfair and World Snooker, and will
see the betting exchange become the title sponsor for the tournament.
The inaugural Snooker Shoot Out was launched in the UK earlier this year and
brings together some of the industry's best snooker players to compete in a
series of quick fire one frame games.
Next year, the Betfair Snooker Shoot Out will be held from January 25 to 27th
at the Tower Circus Arena in Blackpool, and will attract 64 top notch snooker
players.
The event will be screened live on Sky Sports and promises to attract
thousands of snooker fans.
The inaugural event was won by English snooker pro, Barry Hawkins.

The Chairman for World Snooker, Barry Hearn spoke about the Betfair
snooker sponsorship deal and said: "We are thrilled to be working with

the arena is packed out it generates such a buzz."
He noted that the Betfair Snooker Shoot Out has become one of the most widely

booked right away.
