888.com, through its parent company 888 Holdings, has
launched its latest product - live casino games with real dealers.
888's live casino has already been rolled out, only weeks after the company
inked a deal with software provider, Evolution.
Evolution has set up live casino games and services to 888.com, with live
dealer images beamed to the player's desktop from a casino in Riga, Latvia.
The dedicated 888 live dealer team will man six tables initially, one of them
a live roulette table and the other five live blackjack tables.
One of the blackjack tables is a VIP table with high stakes, and will prove
to be a magnet for high rollers.
The studio casino brings the reality of a true gambling establishment right
into the player's home, including interior touches such as wood paneling, carpet
and lighting.
Around 50 dealers have been hired to rotate their services at the new
gambling tables.
888 Live Dealer Casino
As 888 launches a live casino, the Head of Casino at 888.com, Erez
Sadan said:
"We were one of the first operators to explore the potential of an Evolution
dedicated table and we have seen first hand the ROI this approach can deliver,"
he said.
"This gives us full control over branding and the opportunity to maximise
player time and loyalty through regular promotions and by building stronger
relationships with dealers and customers."
888 Enters Italian Market
The deal between 888 and Evolution has seen 888 enter the re-regulated
Italian gambling market and the group has gone live with its Live Dealer
offering.
Evolution was the first Live Casino provider which was officially certified
in accordance to Italian's new laws.
"We are proud that 888 continue to integrate Evolution Live Casino within
their global offering," said Jens von Bahr, the Chief Executive Officer of
Evolution. "And we're delighted to have helped 888 to be the first to market in
Italy with Live Casino and share 888's excitement about the enormous potential
of our Live Casino solutions in this market. Italy is already Europe's biggest
online gambling market by revenue - and also the third largest market in the
world."
The CEO for 888.it, Pier Francesco Geraci said that the two year deal had the
potential to deliver strong advantages for both parties and that Evolution's
products are perfect for the Italian market and "for every other country that
888 serves."
