The standout tie of the round in the Champions League quarter-finals and the
standout value too with Bayern Munich opposable at the prices.
These two great clubs have been among the best performers in European club
competition this term and it would have been a contest worthy of May's Wembley
Alas they meet in the last eight but whichever side emerges unscathed will be
perfectly teed up to go all the way and both are certainly capable of lifting
Sitting atop of the Bundesliga and Serie A respectively, Bayern Munich and
Juventus have dominated their domestic leagues this term and it will be
fascinating to see how this clash unfolds over two legs.
Bayern, who can seal the German title in the coming weeks such is their
advantage over Borussia Dortmund in second place, were nearly caught out in the
last 16 when squandering a two-goal advantage against Arsenal but the hard work
had been done in London and ultimately they advanced.
The 2-0 loss to the Gunners in Bavaria would have concerned Bayern boss Jupp
Heynckes however and quite how they approach the first leg here will be
Juventus, unbeaten in eight Champions League matches this term, have won each
of their previous five games in this competition without conceding a goal and
contesting such a tough group has stood them in good stead.

Juventus have enough about them going forward to nick a goal on the break and
that would make life tough for Bayern Munich.

League so far this term and I cant have Bayern at no bigger than 4/6 in the
match odds market despite their undoubted brilliant form since August.
