New Zealand have performed admirably in past cricket world cups, displaying the battling qualities for which the Black Caps have become renowned. But they seem outclassed in this tournament and it will come as a great surprise if they are able to advance to the semi-final stage this time.

If New Zealand cannot compete with Bangladesh it seems unlikely that they will be able to deal with the other two co-hosts, and then throw in Australia, England and South Africa and you're looking at this team simply making up the numbers this year.
